Fear not death

For she has walked beside you since the day you were born

She is your most devout companion

She is no thief

But a faithful ally

One to be trusted

Her purpose is not consume

But to fiercely stand as guardian

Waiting patiently for the inevitable

For the moment of sweet surrender

It is then she is invited to step in

To act as midwife

Tranquil

Compassionate

Steadfast

And tender beyond human comprehension

Fear not death

For she is to be trusted

With all you heart and all your soul

She is to be trusted

Trust her

For she will not forsake you

She has no agenda

But to see you home

To lend a warm hand of welcome

And see you home.
