Walk With Me

If you are feeling
Unsteady
Unstable
Unsure
Shaken up
Falling apart
Believe me
It is not a bad thing
All of this turmoil dear one, is a sign that you are in the right place
Breathe
Just breathe
Take hold of my hand
I will help steady you
Everything you have been told
Everything you thought you knew
Everything you were ‘sure’ of
Will be brought into question
And rightfully so
In order to come fully home to yourself;
To the perfect soul once born into this world
We must first allow ourselves to fall apart
All of the pieces that have been set into place will no longer fit
Some may
But others must be replaced
How many times must we die to be reborn?
100 x 100-
For as long as we live we must die over and again!
You are as a snake shedding yet another layer of skin
You may feel disoriented
Tender
Raw
Exposed
But this is exactly what must happen for expansion to take place.
Fear not the pain
Rejoice in the potential awaiting your willingness to explore new ways of being
Be curious
The spirit that knew they wanted to see you to this crossroads, (come hell or high water), remains ever by your side
They are not intimidated by your making your way however you choose
Quickly
Slowly
Even kicking and screaming
You are welcomed
However you choose to show up
They made a promise to you long, long, ago
And in return you agreed
You promise to do your best to remain open to remembering
It was your job to take the lead
And spirit promised not to take “no” for an answer
You must lose your mind
Lose sight of the way you ‘think’ things should look
Forget what you believe about how you or things should be
Shit on the shoulds!
This is your birthday party
Cry if you want to but remember to breathe
Long
Slow
And full breaths
Place your trust in the madness
Open your heart
Lose your mind
Trust that you can NOT do this thing called life wrong
Trust that you are not here to be judged (let alone unkindly)
Trust that you have entered into sacred circle and will be held as a precious newborn just waking to the light of the world.
The lights are too bright
Making you to cringe as you exit the isolating darkness.
The familiar; the uncomfortably familiar is all you have known.
You must leave behind the familiar for the safety of a new womb
A womb of warmth, love, and remembrance.
You have done your part by getting yourself here
And I will remain
Hand outstretched to steady you
If you should want.
